This relatively short range is especially prevalent when riding with a group of XR ’s. Now don’t rush out and buy an XR just yet, as these Onewheel Plus Range Extenders could be the solution to your problems.
Yeah, Sonnywheels sells a kit. The difference is you use a Greenworks battery for the XR , instead of an Ego like on the Plus. But the setup is otherwise the same, as I understand it.

I also like that you can easily remove the battery system out in the field because it is essentially all held together by velcro and straps and you can put the system on a friend’s Onewheel out in the field if they need the extra range .
