Ventus, Aqua and Terra can only use these abilities while in their respective D-Links, and they can only unlock them once they level up it.
Abilities are exactly what they sound like. Special abilities that augment your power. There are four types of abilities: Helping, Defensive, Offensive, and Limit. Helping do things like boosting recovery rates. Defensive allows you to defend better through special maneuvers. Offensive increases your attacks.
